“Wait, what?” you ask. Why yes, I’m doing a fan-cast for a movie remake of the book series, Percy Jackson.
Bottom-Line: It’s something entertaining to watch for a couple hours featuring a great cast. But it manages to fail in blending the multiple genres involved and in creating a coherent story.
This is a new type of Looking Forward post as I had only started this last year. What I write about are news in the movie industry that I hope to hear in this new year.
It’s that time of year again! Rather than reflecting on the past year’s films, I’ll be looking to the films of next year and ranking my anticipation for them!
The reason why I have so little MCU fan-cast is because many of the characters have already been cast. So I decided to do a single post that fan-casts the missing members of the Avengers team or in the MCU in general.
Bottom-Line: Justice League is not without some bumps on the road but is overall a fun journey supported by a great team dynamic.
I want to see a lot more of the wizarding world introduced by the Harry Potter series and continued by Fantastic Beasts. There are so many possibilities and one of the most-asked-for spin-off is the Marauders. Some want a movie series, others a TV series (on HBO or BBC). As long as the story’s right, I think it could go either way. I think a show would be the smarter way to go, but if it’s a movie I’d rather see a trilogy than an entire Harry Potter-sized series. I’ve already worked on a Harry Potter spin-off with the Hogwarts founders and I plan to add more spin-off fan casts over time.
Bottom-Line: Full of action, heart, and wonder, DC finds success in their universe with Wonder Woman.
Bottom-Line: Enchanting and fun, the live-action adaptation of the Disney classic is a faithful adaptation that all ages can enjoy.
Bottom-Line: Fantastic Beasts manages to step back into the world that the Harry Potter franchise introduced with a new flavor in the exploration of the wizarding world in America amongst its second round of the Salem Witch Trials.
